Posted on Apr 26 in Activities & Events, Latest News by DebbieWe have alot of activites this month, with the Queens Jubilee in June and St Georges day coming up. We have already made lots of colourful items for the Jubilee ( pictured below) and today the Residents have been helping with colouring and making bunting for St Georges Day on Monday 23rd April.
Other activities this month included entertainment with Rick, which our Residents always enjoy, having a sing along.
We have staff from the Braintree Museum visiting on Friday 27th in the afternoon. They will be bringing with them nostalgic items that many of our Residents will recognise from their early years. This is very good therapy for the Residents and they can reminisce about their past life.

Residents and relatives were able to put their questions to Priti Patel MP at our open ‘Question Time’ evening. We found out that Priti had championed one of the residents, now at Boars Tye, when she wrote to ECC about difficulties that the family were having overcoming obstacles. Her intervention seemed to remove them!
Clive & Bernie would just like to wish you all a really good 2012.
